Teams¶
A team is a shared workspace: its own wallet, its own keys, its own usage, with roles and per-key attribution.
Create & join¶
- Create: Projects page → + New project. You become its owner.
- Invite: owners and admins enter an email address and Keln sends the join link, single-use, good for 7 days, revocable until it's used. An invite survives signup: someone without a Keln account can create one and land back on the invite.
Roles¶
| member | admin | owner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Use team keys / view usage | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ |
| Create & revoke keys, set budgets | ✓ | ✓ | |
| Invite / remove members, set roles | ✓ | ✓ | |
| Grant admin, transfer ownership | ✓ | ||
| Top up, card, auto top-up, billing details | ✓ |
Billing is owner-only; admins see the Billing page read-only. One owner per team; ownership transfer demotes the previous owner to admin. The owner can't be removed (transfer first).
Attribution¶
Usage attributes per API key, and every key records who created it. The per-key breakdown is on Usage.
Billing boundary¶
Teams bill to the team wallet. Switching workspaces scopes every page: Usage, Keys, Billing.
